Rural Operations Course
Rural Operations introduces basic skills involving the use of small teams for security, observation, and support during short duration, rural events.
The curriculum covers a wide range of essential topics, including mission planning, special considerations for rural environments, preparation, infiltration techniques, movement techniques, the basics of patrolling, immediate actions drills, downed operator drills, and carbine deployment with magnified optics.
Live fire marksmanship drills will be completed as an individual and while maneuvering as a team in a controlled setting. The course ends in a final CULEX with the team planning and executing an operation against a rural objective.
TacMed Instructor Course
Tactical Medicine (TacMed) Instructor combines live-fire and tactical medicine exercises in a 2-day class.
The curriculum follows the Principal Guidelines of Instruction set by the Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care, which covers the fundamentals of tactical medicine, the use of a basic trauma kit, and treating hemorrhage, chest trauma, and other life-threatening injuries.
This course also covers getting to the wounded, fighting while wounded, and performing rapid patient assessment and treatment under duress.
Vehicle Tactics & Suppression Course
Vehicle Tactics & Suppression is a “surprised containment” tactic meant to be conducted by specialized units in unmarked vehicles to effect an arrest. These vehicles, including small cars, trucks, vans, and teams, need to be equipped with surprise vehicle-based tactics. To reduce vehicle and foot pursuits and manage/mitigate the risk to public.
This course is modular and is tailored to the needs of the agency. Hosts can add a live-fire component and armored vehicle barricade tactics. The standard course is two days with an optional third day of training.
Undercover Rescue Vehicle Tactics Course
Undercover Rescue Vehicle Tactics provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of undercover narcotics operations as they relate to UC/CI rescue. This course focuses heavily upon situations where agents are at risk inside a vehicle but will also include open air and structure rescue techniques.
Undercover Rescue Vehicle Tactics incorporates real-life case studies and supporting documentation. The training incorporates mission planning and risk mitigation, personnel selection, common language, and equipment requirements necessary to establish a reliable rescue or cover team element.
Undercover Rescue Operations & Handler Control Training Course
This three-day course equips law enforcement undercover agents with essential skills for safe and successful UC/UC handler operations. Participants will gain a deep understanding UC/UC Handler work, particularly in vehicle scenarios, and learn strategies for executing UC rescues.
This course is vital for law enforcement professionals involved in undercover operations, providing the tools needed to protect themselves and others in UC situations.
High Threat K9 Patrol Tactics Course
Grey Group identified a void in advanced K9 training and as a result, developed the High Threat K9 Patrol Tactics course that is intended to bridge the gap between “new” patrol dogs and experienced handlers. This course prepares handlers and teams to better respond to the dynamic, high-threat world of K9 operations by using practical and behaviorally compliant tactics and techniques.
This course is designed for both new handlers and experienced K9 teams. Attendees will also be trained on patrol strategies including large-scale search scenarios involving multiple cover officers and K9 teams.
Drone Tactics & Operations Course
Drone Tactics & Operations provides a comprehensive view into the tactical advantages of utilizing an unmanned aircraft to provide a safe and efficient way to gather intelligence, survey a scene and locate suspects or hostages.
UAS’s equipped with cameras and other sensors can provide real-time information to SWAT teams, Commanders, and supervisors allowing them to make informed decisions, de-escalate situations and minimize the risk to both officers and civilians.
