Trevor Thrasher

Trevor Thrasher

Partner

Trevor Thrasher was born into a military family and raised in Bellevue, Nebraska — the son of a fighter pilot who flew combat missions in Vietnam. He would go on to build one of the most operationally diverse careers in the training industry.

Trevor served 30 years in the U.S. Army, 20 of them as a Special Forces Green Beret with combat deployments with both 3rd and 19th Special Forces Groups. Simultaneously, he built a parallel career in law enforcement spanning more than 30 years — 15 of those full-time across two agencies, working patrol, street crimes, SWAT, and as an academy instructor. He continues to serve as a fully certified law enforcement officer today.

Between those two careers, Trevor spent more than a decade conducting high-risk, high-consequence counter-terrorism missions overseas for a U.S. government agency — work that demanded the full integration of his military and law enforcement skill sets.

He has also worked in the field of executive protection, adding principal protection in both permissive and non-permissive environments to his experience.

Trevor is a court-certified expert witness in use of force and self-defense, and the architect of the High Threat Systems and Reality Behavior-Based Conditioning© curriculum.

That breadth of front-line experience — across special operations, law enforcement, government service, and the courtroom — drives Grey Group’s singular mission: building better decision-makers and tacticians who better serve their communities.
