This was a tough course, as it should be. I really enjoyed the course and everything we worked on. The instructors were great at giving individual feedback and answering questions and explaining tactics further as well as providing personal experiences and applying those experiences to what we were learning was excellent. Thank you for this course, I would highly recommend it!

Some of the key takeaways from the training included learning not to enter a room if the threat can be addressed from the doorway, the importance of taking controlled breaths throughout a high stress situation, and mastering fundamentals like proper footwork and effective positioning. While I hope I never have to apply these skills in a real world incident, the training gave me the confidence that I would be prepared to respond effectively during an active assailant situation if required.
